Overview
The public side lets home buyers filter the brokerage’s listings by keyword, neighborhood, price and bedrooms and send an inquiry that reaches the listing agent by email. Agents and an admin sign in to manage their own listings and customers.
The React app talks to one Vercel function that routes every API path to its own module, over Supabase Postgres. Sessions are signed tokens in an httpOnly cookie, and every agent query is scoped to that agent’s own records.
Marking a listing sold opens a buyer form, and one database call closes the listing and links it to the new customer record. Inquiries are rate limited in the database, since serverless instances do not share memory. The live site runs this rewrite from a branch still in review, and the main branch keeps the earlier Express and MongoDB version.
What it does

Agents create, edit, delete and change the status of their own listings.
Sold capture
Setting a listing to sold records the buyer and closes the listing in one step.
Customer book
Agents search customers by name, email or phone and see which home each one bought.
